Joseph Tewe

I am deeply grateful to the Maserale Education Foundation for transforming my life. Coming from a disadvantaged background, affording higher education felt out of reach. Thanks to their incredible support, I was able to pursue and complete my BSc in Life Sciences without the overwhelming burden of financial strain. The trust fund not only covered my tuition fees but also supported my welfare, allowing me to focus fully on my studies.

Today, I am proud to be employed in the human data science field, a career I’m passionate about, and this would never have been possible without the trust’s generosity. Their belief in me and their investment in my future have empowered me to break free from the barriers I once faced. I will forever be thankful for the opportunities they have given me, proving that education has the power to change lives.

Pearl Baloyi

My name is Pearl Baloyi. And I am a product of maserale education foundation

Maserale started sponsoring me in my second year of tertiary when I was about to give up school because I had failed few modules that made me loose hope. So they reached out to me right after the first semester started , and that same day they had grocery delivered to were i was staying at the time , and it was alot , a lot of food stuff that lasted me for almost 4 months . So Dr Ledwaba did ask me to look for accommodation in or around the school premises so that it be easy for me to study without distractions

I did , and I got it and they spoke to the land lord and payments were made to her for the next 3 years . I studied bachelor of education and in my final year they told us they gonna have a graduations party for us who was graduating that year, that was in 2018, they did, it was a huge beutifuk graduation party for us.

I completed my Bachelor of Accounting Science at the University of Limpopo (2012-2015) and pursued a BCom Honours Chartered Accounting (CTA) at the University of Johannesburg in 2016. I am now a qualified Chartered Accountant and a registered tax practitioner. Since graduating, I have trained and worked as an Auditor and also held a position as a Senior Lecturer.

With no other financial support, Maserale ensured all my needs were met: they covered my tuition, provided groceries, arranged accommodation, and even took care of me during the holidays when I had no family nearby. Their support allowed me to focus solely on my studies, all the way through to my Honours degree.

Maserale had found me the year 2015 after consultations with Miss Mandi at D-Block where I was assisted on how to handle stress, given study techniques and more . When Maserale find me I was very poor but they have been the best mothers and fathers to me. I know at some point I have been troublesome and have troubled them and for that I ask for forgiveness.

There are days that I have slept with an empty stomach before meeting them but after meeting Maserale my life is very good , I don't stress about hunger , my only stress would be what cn I choose to eat. I know as parents there are lots of things that you have decided not to do, so that we can pursue our studies and for that I thank u and God bless u. Maserale had gave me all books, food , care , proection and love .
